i hate to say it, because i think its stupid that this is true, but if u write anywhere anything about killing some1, and they die, if some1 comes accross it, u could be a suspect, but still, like i said, i think thats stupid, and that there should be no problem with writing names in a death note, i mean, i don't care, its just based off of a manga/anime, so it souldn't be such a big deal to do it.

Yeah, writing down names relieves stress. But this isn't real so we don't have to worry about actually killing anyone. The idea that it's real (but we all know its not) is what makes this Death Note such a good stress-reliever.
