My friend wrote "Death Note" on the back of a test in Junior High and the principal called the police.

It was so stupid, but I cracked up when I heard about it, because she is SO NOT the type of chick to kill someone.

I brought my book to school, the thing is to claim it's a simple design, and though the idiot probably made it OBVIOUS that they were trying to kill people...they should of at LEAST claimed it was a regular notebook...

o.O'' I didn't even have a fake Death Note. They searched my bag. When I explained the series to them, they searched my locker for drugs and alcohol. I nearly got suspended because my friend and I were talking about how we wanted to help Mello kill Near.

Ha, I once got called down because a kid's name from my school was in it.
Because of that, we weren't allowed to bring Death Note to our anime club.

And yet, once the dub came out, there was an article in our school newspaper that praised the series.

The school and parents overreacted, but I see where their coming from. Some entries seemed like something that would be on a hit list. That of course sets off the little siren telling them to get this shut down without even bothering to find out why people use this. The ODN was great since you could vent your anger without any side effects such as fights, gang conflicts, shootings, ect. The fact that it seemed like an online hit list caused the site to get shut down.

And while they're overreacting to this whole thing, the kid was pretty stupid too. I mean, it's his own fault for bringing it to school and writing in it in the first place.
