Death Note (online) discussion: Supporter of Kira?

  • Nate River · 1 year ago
Stop saying nonsense and tell me why you supported Kira.
  • Giratina The Golden · 1 year ago
I totally give kira my 100%!!!
Hes got perfect intitions and hes pretty dang hot too!!!
  • The Other Lawliet Girl · 1 year ago
I've gotta say that i agree with you but at the same time i don't. ^^
    KIra IS pretty hot. -drools-
But at the same time, it is wrong to use the death note, sometimes, you see i believe that if he hadn't gone so over bored on using the death note MAYBE he wouldn't have had all these problems.
He was wrong to think that he could change the whole world and rid it of all it's evil.
His number one flaw, was that on the way to "becomimg the God of the new world", he actually became the biggest monster.
I would have to say that my margine of agreement with kirs would have to be around 2%.
  • S_Shook · 1 year ago
Kira being hot has nothing to do with it. The question is, if you had the chance and a REAL death note actually DID work and was handed to you, would you be willing to do things the "Kira" way? No matter if the person is a rapist, muderer, teacher, little child, or a drug-dealing teenager, it's still TAKING A LIFE THAT YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TAKE. Granted, I would love to see to it that every rapist, and murderer die a horrible painful death, but deciding weather they live or die ISN'T up to me or you. And, for that matter, neither is how they die. I've thought about this for a while, since I first read the series. And I always wondered "What would I do?" and honestly, I would probably burn the damn thing. No notebook should be able to decide the fate of a human life. The human decides that fate by their actions. And all humans have the right to live. The only way the right to live can be taken away from someone is when they have done something absolutely UNFORGIVABLE and a court of law decides on the death penalty as punishment. A jury, and a court. Not. A. Teenager. Now if using the death note was a way of applying the death penalty LEAGALY to someone who was on DEATH ROW then I might consider that as an option to avoid having to make such toxins as stuff for a lethal injection or putting someone through the chair. That way, inmates on death row don't get to LIVE in prison where they can just pass away while waiting to be put to death. Using a death note legally would make things in the prison system a lot more efficiant. But other then that, there's no way I would EVER use a death note.

Basically, a policeman can kill because they are allowed since they are with the government, but someone who kills and is not with the government should not and can not...

    You make no sense.
  • S_Shook · 1 year ago
No, I didn't say a police man has that right. Okay you know how when some one is to be executed, there always has to be an executioner? Well if someone is one death row, and they have been sentenced to death by law, then i think it would be okay if a selected executioner were to use the death note to kill that person. Now a days when people are sentenced to death, it's usually by lethal injection. The governmental scientists make a deadly liquid poison and then about 6 different IV's are hooked up to the inmate. And attached to those IV's are 6 pouches. Each of them contains a liquid, but only one of them contains the poison. And 6 different doctors (aka executioners) come in to the room and they each hook up an IV to a pouch and run the liquid through to the inmate. None of them knows which pouch has the poison so none of them know who is really killing the inmate and the inmate doesnt know either. And that's how it works. What I'm saying is that, that might be a way to put the death note to good use. Let's say an inamte is on death row, and they're next in line to die. What they could do is put the inmate in a room and then have about 6 people come in to the room (knowing the inmates name), each of them carrying a notebook that looks exactly alike. Only one of those note books will be the REAL death note. Then, a signal will be given and they could all write the name of that person down in their notebooks at the same time and within 40 seconds, that peson will die. Nobody knows who has the real death note, and you can get through a lot more convicted inmates that are on death row that way. Did that clarify things for you?
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 12 months ago
"No, I didn't say a police man has that right. Okay you know how when some one is to be executed, there always has to be an executioner? Well if someone is one death row, and they have been sentenced to death by law, then i think it would be okay if a selected executioner were to use the death note to kill that person."

So like I said, someone who is with the government can kill but someone who is not can not…

I don’t think I need to know how they kill someone on death row, but thanks for the information it was actually really cool. They’d all go in a frenzy if they found out they killed the person.

We’re not talking about people that HAVE been caught and are going to die anyway, we’re talking about people who HAVE NOT been caught and are being allowed to run around freely continuing their acts. You keep bringing up that if an inmate is on death row, you’re ignoring the people who are killing and running around free…and that’s a dumb idea to give inmates a death note or a fake death note, because they would probably just try it on each other…whether they know or not which has the true note book, the person who wrote the others name that died would find out.

So basically no, it did not clarify anything.
  • S_Shook · 12 months ago
"So like I said, someone who is with the government can kill but someone who is not can not…"

ANYONE can be the executioner. You don't have to be with the government to do you it. When Sadam Hussein was caught many, MANY people signed up to be the executioner. Many people from his country; middle class, average, non-governmental people, signed up to pull the lever when he was to be hung. What I'm saying is kind of like that. Anyone can do it, you don't have to be in the government, or the military, or any specific group to do it. Now, how people would be chosen to do something like that, I still don't know. Maybe it could work like jury duty. Maybe people could sign up for it. Whatever works best.

And yes, when I heard about how they do the death penalty, I thought it was pretty interesting myself.

Well the question didn't really classify if we were talking about inmates or "free" crimials. The question was asked if it was so bad to do things the Kira way and I said I wouldn't do it his way, but I suggested an alternative. And the reason I would ONLY use it on inmates who are on death row, is because they have already been sentanced by a court of law, to death. If a criminal has raped and beaten and murdered and done all of these unthinkable crimes but is still running from the law but has NOT been sentenced BY A COURT OF LAW to death, then killing then with the death note isn't right.

And I never said to give a death note to inmates. What I said was we could have a system where those selected people (whoever they are; governmental or not) look at an inmate on death row (be it a picture or the real thing) and then write his or her name down in identical looking notebooks( so no one knows which one is real),one of which would be the death note. And then the inmate will die, no one will know who killed him/her and everyone has a clean concience.
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 11 months ago
This is just what I was saying, you believe they need to be sentenced by law, and if they’re running free it’s fine since they weren’t sentenced by the government.

I’m sure that every single one would freak out wondering if they killed the man or not. No one would have a clean conscience. The person with the death note should be selected and possibly even tested in some way if it was possible to see if they should be one of the people to use the note book.
  • S_Shook · 11 months ago
Yes, I do believe that, because no matter what that person has done they're alive for a reason and no matter how much we may want them dead, we don;t have the right to decide if they should be unless were on jury duty and putting that person through trial legally. And it doesn't have so much to do with the government as it does the legal system. If their rights to life have been LEGALLY ended, then I don't object to using the death note as an alterior way to apply the death penalty.

And no. It's not for certain that everyone would freak out wondering if they killed the person or not. And on a side note, it is also wrong to say that everyone will remain calm. It all depends on the individuals reaction. That being said, those who don't want to do it, don't have to.

And yes, if there were a way to test someone accurately, then by all means let that test be applied. But, because we don't have that technology (and since lie detectors are inadmissable in court), I was merely suggesting an alternative that could be used if a death note was put to use in current times.
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 11 months ago
The Legal System basically is the government though, and what about those who are running around free?
  • S_Shook · 11 months ago
Yes, the legal system does have something to do with the government, but your missing the point. What I'm saying is ANYONE can be the executioner. They don't have to be with the legal system or the government AT ALL, they can be a gift shop cleck for Bush Gardens, Virginia. It doens't matter. All I said was that if someone wanted to be an executioner they could. And then you brought up the suggestion of a test that could be applied to test if that person was....good enough to use the death note. So that they don't go on a crazy killing spree, and I agreed that if a test like that could be applied then to do it. I did not once say that the government has the right to use the death note to kill people and that's the point you keep trying to bring up. But I didn't say that. I said if a person was sentenced to death under a court of law, meaning a jury of his or her peers (like the gift shop clerk) found him/her guilty of a crime that deserved death as a result, then the death note could be used to kill that person. And whoever were to use that death note (remember, like I said it could be ANYONE), could be tested to see if they would use the death note righteously (based on your suggestion if such a test were to exist). I said nothing pertaining to the government, and only the government, being allowed to kill people with the death note.

And I already answered the second half of your question but I'll expand what I said before. I said that "no matter what that person has done they're alive for a reason and no matter how much we may want them dead, we don;t have the right to decide if they should be unless were on jury duty and putting that person through trial legally". What that meant was I believe that if a person has committed a horrible and unforgivable crime and is running free, but they have not been put on trial legally and a jury has not voted on the death penalty, then I don't think using the death note on that person is okay. Put it like this, let's say some guy rapes a little girl (the usual penalty for which is not death). Do you think that everyone in the girls family would want him alive? No, of course they would want him dead. But the penalty for rape is (usually) just prison time. So if this man is running the around free and someone were to use the death note on him because of what he's done, then it isn't right because there's a chance that, had he been caught and convicted, he would NOT have been sentenced to death and then you would have killed, not and innocent man, but a man who still had the right to life (maybe not to freedom) but to life.
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 10 months ago
Wait…if all this was about agreeing with me…then why are we arguing? I remember simply saying that the death note should be in the hands of someone that knows how to use it and should kill the people who deserve to die and are running around freely, it’s just like…an extra hand that a regular human being doesn’t have. While the police and such are trying to go after one man, the death note weilder can head for another… that sounds fine with me…and of course since it can be anyone of a good nature or…job as a flourist…we’re all good.

You continuously mentioned that killing was wrong unless the government did so, that’s what you continued to say over and over again, you said that the government was given the right to kill because it’s their duty to protect their citizens basically, and no one has the right to judge man but God or the Government…that’s what you said…even search through your previous posts ((I had to in order to prove my point actually lol))

Everything you keep saying deals with government…that’s all I’m saying. You continue to say that you aren’t, but you practically are…especially after what you just said about if they aren’t on trial or anything we cannot say they deserve a penalty unless we’re of the government or jury duty…once again, GOVERNMENT. Rapists don’t just rape one person and decide to walk like a normal being…obviously they raped for a reason, sex addicts, such like that…they usually continue if they haven’t been caught, it’s an adrenaline rush of a sort. A penalty of jail time multiplies by all the other rapes that cause jail time as well could be a life sentence in jail…which is basically equivalent to death…

  • Nate River · 5 months ago
I am probably the complete opposite of you but our rinds are one in the same. I support Kira and for those that want to rid the world, send me messages on who you want to be "deleted" in the Death Note (online).
  • OutcastLover · 1 year ago
Don't get me wrong, though; I think Light's crazy, but I love him for the fact that he is, for all his delusions to the contrary, human. I don't judge him, because I have to admit that he's inside all of us; I mean, what would YOU do with those powers? I'm sorry for him, actually. A temptation like that is almost insurmountably hard to resist; most of us would have gone down the same path or worse (not everyone would try to create justice), so don't judge Light, rather mourn him.
  • deathlight · 1 year ago
Exatally. at least you get it.
  • 3DMC · 1 year ago
Taking a humans life is morally wrong...but is it okay to bad people to make the world a better place? I think it's okay, but Light seems to become more evil as the time passes...
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 1 year ago
He goes insane with power, the more he accomplishes the more he believes he can't be stopped. They have showed his flaw before, and they prove his flaw on the last episode.
  • zelkura · 1 year ago
I strongly agree.Light, while his intentions are good at first, He seems to care less about his perfect world and more about his god-like complex.Besides, as 3DMC stated , Taking a life is morally wrong. And I believe that no human has the right to juge and punish someone who's already been punished. That's what jail is for.
  • Viko · 1 year ago
but jail is not efficient in punishing criminal, there are criminals that can operate their mafias from inside the jail. we all see that around the world. i think that light did what he could to change that
  • zelkura · 1 year ago
Yes!Because some are innocent, though still convicted. You watch Law and Order SVU and see what I mean(If it seems rude to say that , I'm sorry...)This is replying to the original question.
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 1 year ago
I still support him though :-) Infact, I kind of took the God Complex from him not too long ago...
  • zelkura · 1 year ago
Wow...Okay.Well,I suppose it does make sense that the world would be better without some people,B-But my opinion on a higher power doing it instead of a human still stands(sweating)
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 1 year ago
Well, humans were given free will...so...yeah, i guess most go crazy with power. But some like Light Yagami can control it....for a bit, all Yagami's wrong doings were just him covering up his tracks...if someone knew too much or threatened him in anyway, he'd kill 'em. That's his problem. You just need the right person to do it. That's all <3
  • Viko · 1 year ago
I do agree.. but you think a human is the right person???
  • Lmirukami · 1 year ago
You're sorely mistaken.Kira is not evil and did not deserve to die.But Light Yagami was.He alone is the one who neede to die...
  • zelkura · 1 year ago
By that you must mean that the thought of someone taking away criminals is good but not using it to keep yourself out of trouble.Right?
  • mooder · 1 year ago
Why kill just the criminals? Killing without any discrimination for age, sex, race, and religion is more enjoyable than just killing out of hatred. Putting more heart into killing people is guaranteed to result in more entertainment and more lulz.
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 1 year ago
I have noticed that all the criminals that Kira killed were male. I'd also kill people...a lot of people... at my school. :-) Does that count?
  • zelkura · 1 year ago
well, whatever the reason, there are still those who are killed out of misconception.I'm not saying that no one deserves it, but just think for a second...Now Once,Yes Our Understanding Does Outsmart Negative Thoughs. but do you really think you would punish the people who deserve
it?(for your answer, piece together the capital letters).
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 1 year ago
I would totally punish those who deserve it. the assassins and killers that rip people apart and stuff like that, insane people, all that stuff...including those I disliked. I mean, I guess I understand why Light would kill people just for getting in his way, if someone threatened YOU that you'd go to jail if you were Kira, you'd try to kill that person and hide your own identity.
  • NeerX · 1 year ago
I do not agree with Kira's morality however, I do see why he would kill to keep his identity a secret. After all L did say if he was cought he would be sentenced to death, and since he used a Death Note he can not go to heaven or Hell, so no matter your out look you would most likely do what ever you could to not die, and murder is no execption.
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 1 year ago
    I agree completely.
  • zelkura · 1 year ago
Yes, But it is still wrong to do so. If you did something that warrants you to go to jail , You should probably just go.
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 1 year ago
That's insane. Go to jail? D:
  • Anonymous · 1 year ago
No, If I murdered someone I would murder as many people as needed to keep myself from death.
  • Lmirukami · 1 year ago
I'd say i couldn't necassarily accept killing someone and i'm no fan of kira but in truth some would be better off dead. still what kira has done is not make a perfect world but one built on fear
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 1 year ago
Why let those that have done wrong change if most are not willing to change at all...?
  • Lmirukami · 1 year ago
Because, As my Brother "zelkura" stated(Yes, I found you) some are sent to jail on filatious
charges. And you wouldn't want to be killed just because you were accused of a crime would
    you?
  • zelkura · 1 year ago
No.Life is to short already. There is no need for anyone to cut it short.
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 1 year ago
I suppose so mirukami...but to what zelkura said...

life is too short, why spend it in jail? And for most people to go about killing just because they may think the same way. As in "Life is too short so get all the money you can from banks...kill those you dislike...murder, stealing, rape, etc." So sometimes their lives should be and deserve to be cut shorter than half...as in...die now.
  • Gigaman · 1 year ago
I agree, that's why the world sucks!
  • zelkura · 1 year ago
I never thought of it that way.hmmmm.....
    Go Kira!
But still, there has to be a better way of dealing with it.It's a lot easier to do what's wrong than right and there seems to be no justification in the eyes of criminals to do what's right. So what do you do with them? You can't just kill them all. Some learn thier lesson.
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 1 year ago
underline and highlight SOME...while the other MOST criminals still run around... ><
  • Unnamed Kira · 1 year ago
The world could use a Kira. The judicial system is inefficient at keeping criminals away from the public. Child molesters, rapists and common murderers will always crave the crime. With immediate death, we could be rid of these threats indefinitely.
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 1 year ago
Ever since Death Note started I always wanted to be a kira... <3

Exactly, sure some get thrown in jail...what about those that haven't gotten caught and are still running around killing and hurting little kids who don't deserve it? I'm a supporter of Kira.
  • zelkura · 1 year ago
You're both right. Not only would we put away criminals. But those who even think about doing something evil would be too scared to pull it off.But there has to be a way to discern who actually di the crime and who is just falsely accused. It's easy to kill a rapist. But hard to accept when you find out the "victim" just lied to get some attention
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 1 year ago
True. It would be hard, but yeah....possibly the only way Kira found out if it was real or not was by looking in the police files and it had all the SERIOUS criminal information...

The smart ones, those of a higher IQ above 100, should be control of the Death note, for they would be able to tell if they were lying or not...because hey, everyone shows a weakness in a lie unless you were born lying...like...as soon as you were born a boy you claimed you were a girl. Come on.
  • Shawn · 1 year ago
well, there's some guy in Belgium trying to be Kira, think about it in real life terms. Do you support him?
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 1 year ago
If there's no death note, it's a task that...well...all you're doing is running around the streets killing. You're hacking into secret information, then you're trying to be an assassin. Real life terms you're an assassin running around crazy killing...if that dude's never caught, then sure I will support him...if he gets caught, probably will, than he's an idiot.
  • Jake · 1 year ago
Honestly I think that there should be a Death Note and I think that someone like Light should get it. An ideal world would be great but i know it is never possible. So yes I'm a Kira supporter.
  • Llawlite · 1 year ago
Definitely.Kira is something this world desperately needs. And I think we all share a little of his ideals about justice!
  • zelkura · 1 year ago
    No
  • Lmirukami · 1 year ago
    Not really...
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 1 year ago
    Yes!
  • Ryuzaki_aka_L · 1 year ago
I can personally say that I support the idea Kira had, killing the criminals and those who sought to expose Kira. I mean killing the criminals who have been found guilty for certain is justice, and those who try to stop the one bringing justice should be taken out for trying to stop justice
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 1 year ago
I Agree with that opinion too.
  • anonymous · 1 year ago
    yes
  • wonder · 1 year ago
but if we were to kill all criminals we would have to kill Kira as way. A murder is a murder. Kira is trying to make a world of peace, this so called "New World", but is not everybody else? I understand what Kira is trying to do but this is already being done in the world today only with a far more fair fashion. For example, a trial is given before the chair.
  • Nanashi · 1 year ago
I support Kira, because there are people who have immunity because they are the son or relative of a nation, then if he was to muder someone in America and his father is friend with the president or a vauble ally, then the murderer will get away and be excused. Am I making sense?
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 1 year ago
    Slightly...Nanashi. Slightly :)

A murder is a murder indeed, so how about telling the murderers that are in jail? The killers that will be SET FREE AFTER A PERIOD OF TIME AND DO THEIR DIRTY TASKS ALL OVER AGAIN. Of course a murder is a murder, but there is a difference between self defence and murder. Defending the world is always considered a self defense...even if also claimed to be murder...
  • Ryuzaki_aka_L · 1 year ago
    My thoughts exactly Lawliette :)
  • Nanashi1 · 1 year ago
I was here anonymously as nanashi, anyway, what I was talking about was diplomatic immunity. Some people may abuse their power in another country where they have diplomatic immunity, and what about gangsters. One called Al Capone only got into jail for tax evasion dispite the fact that everyone know he kill people, there wasn't any evidence because people were too afraid to come forward.
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 1 year ago
I suppose that's true, esecially when you're Light Yagami and your father is the chief of the police... Light slightly abused his power by easily getting into the Police files on the computer and killing from there. Actually...forget I said that, it made no sense...but yes I agree with you Nanashi.
  • azza · 1 year ago
At the start when he finds the book and uses it to kill the criminals, he was doing the world some good, but then later he became more evil, and kept using the book. However, if he stopped using the book he wouldn't have been caught anyway. He wanted to use the book and live at the same time, and in the end he became ruthless. He killed Shiori just so that he could stay alive.
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 1 year ago
He killed many people just to stay alive...he thought himself as a God. I do believe he thought about what would happen...I mean, come on... If you get caught or not...when you die and you've used the death note, you aren't going to heaven nor hell...so live your life up now because the after-life will be as boring as watching a snail race...

those were his thoughts. because come on. Even if you used it once, you're still not going to heaven or hell. So once he realized there was no turning back...he just had to finish his knew world. Even when Light forgot his memories, he knew that if he was kira he'd complete his mission on building a new world.

i am with light all the way and if i had a death note of my own i would carry out his doings in our world and in doings so i shall become the godess of this world and i shall rule with a fist of JUSTICE! FOR I AM JUSTICE!!!! i dont care if you think of me as evil beacause all in my way who wish to stop me shall be killed.
and plus my sister went out yesterday to a friends house and i wrote her name in death note online and well she still isnt home.
  • Ryuzaki_aka_L · 1 year ago
If she is dead, i highly doubt it was caused by death note online. Even so, why target her? If you wanna be like Light, you would've started with actual criminals. If by some chance the online death note actually works for you...it's gonna be gone soon anyways
  • gotta_be_light · 1 year ago
well i do wanna be like light death note wise but i wanna be like ryuzaki attitude/personality wise. and to me that sister of mine IS a criminal!

  • The Real Kira · 1 year ago
I support Kira 100%. If I had the Death Note I would do it myself. I would rid the world of all crime and make a perfect utopia. I wouldn't kill any police officers like Light did though. That would only prove that I'm a person and not a real god. Criminals need to be punished. If society won't do it that a new god will. Someone who kills criminals isn't a criminal he is a vigilante. Just wait till a real Kira rises.
  • Chris · 1 year ago
Since I first watched the anime before it was released in English, I was always debating that fact. Is killing those who have killed actually wrong? If you don't get rid of them they may continue, if you get rid of them you can silence evil. If I was Yagami Light, I'd only kill those who have killed another person, abused a child, or sevearly hurt an animal. Too bad this site will be shut down, I would just to continue this 'post'. My email is: "Smitty-man@hotmail.com" for those who would like to chat or whatever. At first, just put the subject as "Kira" is emailing me. I usually don't open emails from people I don't know.

Just Lord Kirs. I know it's impossible. but something like that would be a blessing

Firstly, let me just say I think that what Kira did was wrong, since killing people for justice is hugely hypocritical.
But, I don't think that Light was evil, since in his head he really WAS justice - whatever he was doing, he was doing it for the right reasons - an evil person would know that what they do is wrong, yet continue to act thusly regardless.
In response to those who say that only Kira or Light needed to be killed - well, even when Light WASN'T Kira (does that avoid spoilers?) his thought patterns were still leaning towards the attitude of Kira, something he acknowledged himself.
As for his Godly desires, and especially his actions right at the end, it seems clear to me that there was something extremely wrong with him mentally. As to whether or not he was driven to madness by power, by constantly putting hundreds of people to death, or if that was just his personality, I can't decide.

Does anyone that's evil ever actually believe that they are evil?
Light killed thinking he was 'Justice,' it was clear to others (Light's dad, L) that Kira was evil, and I think it's supposed to be pretty clear to us, too. n.n

I agree "supergals4_shibuya" If this world did have their own Kira then there would be no crime, well apart from Kira killing the killers. But then one has to think. How can Kira be considered a murderer if he is only killing people who have killed also? It's a hard question to answer, to me it seems rhetorical.
    Defiantly a kira supporter

sure but he tried to play the role of god...a role impossible to become for a human even one as capable as,Light (Ratio) Yagami.... he killed for a new world where he would rule, a world where he would be god... an ideal... Light(Ratio)Yagami was doomed frome the start it was just a matter of time when.

    Hm.
Good point, but… Is killing ever really right?
I think throughout the series of Death Note, we're supposed to know that Light MEANS well, but I think we're supposed to realize that he's evil.
I mean, crazy evil. With the power to kill people, he corrupts. He becomes conceited, and he takes the lives of whoever he pleases.
I think Takeshi probably wanted us to know that what Light was doing was wrong.

killing people is morally wrong. our justice system today kill people so what is the difference of Light killing people??
  • OutcastLover · 1 year ago
    Actually, it IS different.

    1. Light does not have the benefit of a detailed investigation to reassure him beyond the shadow of a doubt of the person's innocence or guilt.
    2. Light is the sole arbiter of the decision, as opposed to a jury.
    3. Light is both outside the law and rather insane.

Would YOU want this man deciding your fate if you were accused of murder? He doesn't know everything; no matter what he thinks, he's not God. He can make a mistake. True, a group of people can make a mistake, as well, but you've got a better chance when there is a chance for discussion.

i agree that it's a difficult decition to make however how can one man honestly hope to become a "god" his vision is biased and so is many people who have written here "if there was a kira it would deff be me!"just shows how much pride some people have that they honestly think they can decide what is right and wrong?having too much pride is a sign of foolishness..it is a decent idea for this world to have a "kira"however it goes in a loop "anyone who kills deserves to be killed"that is a very moronic statement as the person who killed the killer would deserve it then that person would too etc. i am not a real supporter of kira his ideals were fairly decent but as stated above they were flawed he is mortal even if he had that kind of power he was still mortal..if he became some sort of all knowing omnipotent being then i would have agreed with his plan a little bit more..however as he wanted to become a "god"of "his new world"that alone shows how fundementally flawed his plan was"anyone with an iq above 100 should get a death note"cant tell you how much i dissagree with that statement my I Q is 120 and even so i dont think i could make the decitions neccesary to determine if a person should live or die because i wouldnt know the most intimate details involving the case..so all in all i dont really support kira though i do agree something needs to be done about this horrible judicial system of ours. -michael

What you're saying is that a theif...a rapist, a murderer, can not be labelled as being wrong or right? They are just...what they are? We can't say they are bad or good? Sure, most of us have prode that we'd be better than the other, but WE ALL know ONE thing........we CAN lebel because it's called SENSE...we KNOW that STEALING and RAPE is WRONG so we LABEL IT AS WRONG...

It may be foolish how we all compare ourselves to Kira and say we would of done better, but it is NOT foolish how we all think. We all believe in one thing...there IS wrong and RIGHT....we CAN lebel because in the back of our minds there is something TELLING US WHAT IS WRONG...

Sure, who kills must be killed, but saying this also supports your statement of "who can say what is right or wrong" though...killing a killer is neither aswell? Not...

I think that the idea of getting rid of criminals is good, but only as long as the one doing it doesn't let the power go to his or her head. Though, the police and judges do essentially the same job, even though there is still that margin of error where they could be setting free a killer, or condemning an innocent. There are faults with the justice system, just as there are with Kira, and honestly, I cannot say yet whether or not I'd side with Kira. Yes, Light's original idea was good, and showed a lot of promise, but as soon as he started using it to protect himself, he became no better than any other criminal. So, is it really possible to use Kira's power without going overboard?
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 1 year ago
I'd assume not, it's happened with every being who took hold of the deathnote, BESIDES Misa Misa-chan. She was the only one who didn't care how it was used as long as it respected Kira's wishes... but power is a type of thing that causes people to act un-like themselves. it makes sense that we all have plans on what we'd do if the Death Note was real, we'd all 'do better', but I'm also sure that as soon as we touched it and realized what we could do...we'd all go overboard. it happened to me from a simple note you could buy at Anime Con. My friend handed it to me and suddenly I'm writing down everyone I hate in School...was that my original plan? no.

Kira is like the police, only better though (getting back to the topic). Police could accidentaly punish an innocent, while Kira looked up his information first before actually doing anything...though he also punished the simple crimes, the simple crimes worked well and warned everyone NOT to try and steal a bag of potato chips from a camera-less quickie-mart...so when you get to the younger kids, they warn people and behave themselves as they get older...

While I do not possess a real notebook i will be visiting this site often and writing in the names of convicted criminals. If they actually die then oh well. I support Kira, but thinking deeper on the subject; he had quite a few flaws in his master plan. First off, I understand killing criminals and those who would get in his way. The people that chased him were hindering the justice he was trying to bring to the world. A man who hinders the punishment of crime is just as bad as the person commiting the crime. But, Light was abusing his power. Kira became totally faithful in his own infallibility, and that was his major flaw. Really though, Light should be applauded on hs performances. Keeping so calm and making sure no one ever saw anything more than a rightous young man, that takes effort. Believe me I know. All I'm really saying with all this is, this world needs someone to bring it out of the pit that society has dug itself into. But I don't think the entire decision f who lives and who dies should rest in the hands of one person. And that's all I'm saying for now.

Many of you in the cyberspace world, may have heard of the popular show/ manga Deathnote. In it, a young man named Light Yagami comes across a notebook that has the power to kill anyone, by simply writing their name. He goes about changing the world with this new, profound power, encountering many obstacles in his way. He engages with world renoun detective, L, who is as intelligent as he is mysterious, in a battle of wits. Each, pursuing his own goal of purging the world of evil, and upholding justice. In his quest in becoming the God of a new, purer world, one begins to question the ethics of Light's actions. Which brings forth the main argument: Is Kira Justice?

This blogger says, yes. The intentions of Light Yagami, or Kira, would be a true benefit to the world we live in today. Each of us, were brought up in an evil world, one with crime and mortality on the rise. The world, no, our world, is nothing more than vicious vigilantes preying upon the meak, all living in squalor. Justice has become muddled and vague, the guilty easily transcend the hands of punishment. If no crime is served, no criminal apprehended, no judgement given, we will rot from the very muck we hath sewn. But, with a Kira existing, there is hope.

As evidenced by episode 31 of the anime, after 6 years of Kira's intervention, wars have ceased, crime has trickled down, and people are adopting honest, generous lifestyles. With Kira watching all of the world, criminals are eliminated, and the good are left to live free from evil influences. Capital punishment, or the death penalty, are essentially the essence of Kira's judgements. Are the executioners who pull the switch on electric chairs evil as well? Justice is being taken into the hands of someone who wont just let criminals slide through the cracks in the justice system, all executed with a quick pen stroke and a sudden heart attack. Light had managed to reduce world crime rate by 70%, all within a short period of time, compared to how long it would take for the world to solve its criminal problems on its own. Although Light did kill innocent people along the way, which does retract from his original philosophy of punishing criminals. This could be seen as a consequence to a ruling of Kira, but a great man once said "sacrifice is necessary for progress". And what progress indeed. To destroy evil and purge the world of crime. Kira is a savior of the good, and one today would surely produce similar results. So, is Kira justice? Most defintely so.

    Supporter of Kira 100%!
  • elarion23 · 1 year ago
Kira is completly right, prisen is not a suitable punishment and many criminals walk, death and painful torture is the only way to gain justice. If anyone doing what Kira did came into existance i would worship them as a god. (Oh and by the way im planning carry out some Kira work at my local school)

KIRA WILL LIVE ON IN ME!!!!!
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 1 year ago
You know what I just realized?

I can't remember which episode or which manga number it was, but a man said that "Kira was probably killing the criminals who were going to be executed anyway..."

So doesn't that mean the policemen are doing the same thing that Kira is doing? Killing off the bad criminals? Sure, Light was doing the same thing the police were doing with criminals. Execution. But after awhile we all know he started losing control and getting paranoid so he started to kill people who were trying to stop Kira and get in the way of his 'Master Plan'.

There are people who say that Kira is Evil...then there are those who support him...

Well, Those who say he's evil should be happy that he died...but those that claim he is good are proud that the world of Kira hadn't changed since he left...not criminal wise before he got the deathnote, but after his death the world remained the same...no one knew he died, so there was minimum crime rate throughout the world....he was successful whether anyone likes it or not. The only problem that he faced was not being able to see his Kingdom live on.

yes, I agree...Whether you worshipped him as a God or not, you get too close and you're used as a pawn in his chase-and-run game. Every female he's ever been with was used, males, no children...it seemed they were all the only ones safe...

As you can see in my name, I'm LAWLIETta YAGAMI...I love both sides, for I do believe I have the same thoughts as Kira but the same Brains as Detective L....I may be claiming that I'm full of myself, but I support Kira but I also support L and his way of justice...Kira IS justice...but he is also a failure. Light kills off every crime there is, including small twinkie theives in a small market. L punishes the same way except without killing and instead throwing in jail. If their problem was bad enough, he would have had them killed....so....does that mean what Light was doing was wrong? NO...it was the same act that the police do! They Execute, so Kira should as well, not for the smaller crimes, but for the same crimes as the police consider bad enough to kill.

I agree with KiraFan1412, The police let small things slide by either giving off warnings or giving them jail time then letting them free...that, excuse my words, pisses me off SO MUCH. It's the people who get AWAY with the crime that want to DO IT AGAIN! They have a crack of hope in every heart all over the world, everyone thinks something will change...it's when you realize NOTHING WILL and then you turn around...it's hard and obviously takes awhile in order to support Kira and his actions...all our lives we look at a bully and think they'll be your friend soon enough, but when they follow you through highschool and college and graduation and still have no life but to torment you is when you realize...this person is going the wrong path and hasn't changed their path since....

    They must be elliminated.

Innocent people, to me, are the people that sit back and witness...criminals, to me, are those that do something wrong continiously without fixing their own mistakes or doing something about it.

--->((Time for a quote lol)) "To make an omelet, you got to break a few eggs..." Indeed, that means sacrafice. it's the same as war on earth, To win the war against another country one must send troops....some troops die, but they sacraficed themselves to save their homeland.

I support both sides...I am right in the middle...Kira is WRONG, but Kira is RIGHT...L is WRONG...but L is RIGHT...

SOMEONE HELP ME CHOOSE FOR GOD'S SAKE...

Not a single person can tell you! Those whose views on justice stem from what others believe to be right are often the type who become kira's VICTIMS. (personally I take on the shinigami's kill only because I don't wish to die attitude. does that make me evil?)
  • J_Joon · 1 year ago
KIRA is never wrong... L is just a nuisance. Criminals should be punished NO MATTER WHAT. I wouldn't show mercy to those close me either (not that they are criminals). KIRA is just trying to make the world a happier place. Crime rates have dropped drastically. People are much happier. Fair judgments are made. If the Death Note was real and a bored Shinigami were to drop it and I happened to pick it up, I would do the same. Sacrifices are required to make this world a crime-free place. I give my full support to KIRA.
  • light_up_my_life · 1 year ago
i agree with that statment all the way and the sad thing about the world today is if a death note really were to exist the majority of the world is not ready to accept that a magical notebook is the cause of all the murders and the police would just go on searching fruitlessly for the culprit that doesent even exist. you could keep your death note lying out in the open and noone would suspect that it is you killing all the criminals with the help of a note book. nowadays it would be so easy to do such a thing especially since no one like L or near or mello realy exists.
  • hpttgrl · 1 year ago
I don't agree with the statement: Sacrifices are required to make this world a crime-free place.

Says who? I think that there is definitely a way to rid the world of evil without killing people or "making sacrifices."

Why are we killing people who kill people to teach people that killing people is wrong?

I would not be a supporter of Kira.

    To hpptgrl:
You're obviously unaware of what your own comment said "Why are we killing people who kill people to teach people that killing people is wrong?" Well thats just it, today's justice system is based upon that logic its what capital punishment is after all. Though it's a sad truth, criminal executions are the law of this world and it seems that the public accepts this "eye-for-an-eye" system. Kira would be doing the exact same thing, and people would eventually learn to agree with such methods. And ridding the world of evil does require sacrifices, even L himself committed crimes to stop Kira. The police have to risk their lives to uphold peace. Chaos cannot be controlled without having to commit treachery of your own. Thus is the sad way of the world.

I believe that indeed, Kira is justice. Imagine a world where there was no crime. That's what Kira is trying to achieve, a perfect world. I support Kira fully and if, in the real world, there was a real death note, and the owner of it used it just as Light did, I would do everything I could to support him. Just think, crime rates would go down, there would be more money for the government. Someone has to pay for a the criminals in the prisons. It isn't right that murderers should get off so easy with a life sentence, they deserve to die. I'm not saying people who steal someone's purse should die, but as the bigger criminals are killed off, we should weed out all of the lesser ones. If I had the chance to obtain a death note, I would do exactly what Light did, except be better. He was too arrogant and selfish. Kira and his ideas I support.

The problem with what you'e saying is that, even if he has to kill you to have hi mission accomplished, you'd support him? He has smart moves, his motives are good, his plans are awesome, but even if you supported him you were't safe. Supporers believed that if they worshipped Kira then they would be safe, but it was the oposite. If you worshipped him, you had a better chance of dying. Not more than the criminals themselves, but to get to whathe wants he killed, and though I also support his plan, I do not support how he would kill peple even if it was un-necessary.

Just a remainder that this utopia is BASED OFF OF A CONTEMPORARY WORK OF FICTION.
How are you to know who raped the poor girl in the alley last night? Guess? Or maybe you could have a little suggestion box, where the whole community can vote on Who Raped Mary Sue. Why not kill all of the suspects, just to be sure? Raise your hand if you honestly believe the majority of crimes committed leave the police knowing the perpetrator's name and face. We already have a capital punishment system; how well does this work? I can't go on listing the illogical aspects of this.
Not to mention, every attempt at such an oppressive rulership in recorded history has failed...
  • Nearvlight · 1 year ago
Calm down! True , it is based off of fiction. But it is also a means of answering deep questions we all have. You cannot capture all who are guilty, realistically most will get away and some may even be arrested under false charge, but we are all improving to some degree. So the meathods of capturing criminals will improve. possibly to a point where our current meathods seem primitive.

It is not the same 'ruler ship' that you are saying it is, Unassuming. Though you say many have tried this, it is impossible because no one uses a notebook to control and use godly powers to rule over the world. There was always a feeling that sooner or later we will all get tired of criminals getting away with the smallest of things, so I am guessing we’ll get futuristic and possibly everyone would finally get a system to protect any building of their own, such as recording day and night and possibly better alarm systems. Of course they’re already out today, but not many people own such things to protect their home from robbery, and someday we’ll get this in schools, buildings, fast food restaurants, and even for streets. We can already prevent all these dangers, but we don’t bother… girls and guys alike can carry pepper spray designed as a keychain and defend themselves against attackers such as rapists, but instead we automatically assume it would not be us and then it is our own downfall…so those who do not and cannot and wish to not protect themselves decide to look for the protection of another, such as God, Devil, Buddha, Spirits, etc. The God Kira, I am starting to believe, is another imaginative figure that the people just wanted to believe in…they did not see him for the real him, they simply saw him as a protector…and just as suspected, he killed MANY MANY criminals but did not kill them ALL. He got many, but there were still those that were on the street being raped and uncaught. The crime rate dropped massively, but did not completely…

There is no such thing as a perfect world, just like this ‘Go Green’ and ‘Global Warming’ crap. We cannot fix what has already happened…so why bother? It is something we cannot do.
  • MihaelKeehl · 1 year ago
Oh my god! You finally get the point that I've been trying to impose on every kira supporter out there!I however, respectfully disagree on the thought of such a world being impossible to reach. We just have to try and fix it ourselves. And it won't be a quick fix. But it can be done simply by trying to make it so that we are not part of the problem or those that don't care. but we must try to be the solution and allow ourselves as well as those around us to change this world so that we don't have so many people refer to it as a hellhole. Is there anyone else who would rather step up and be the solution than wait for some miracle.

Why do any of you support kira? You all know as well as I do that at one time or another in your lives, you have done or will do something that would merit your death by kira's standards. So why support such an evil persona that does nothing but assume the very childish premises that if you are in jail, then you are the bad guy and since you are the bad guy, despite you being no less human than himself, it is okay to prematurely end your life. (a.k.a. kill you) and he would probably end up killing you even if some jerk decides it's fun to falsely charge you.
  • KiraFan1412 · 1 year ago
A valid point, but we have yet to see Kira "behind the scenes". At one point in the series it does mention Light does his research before executing criminals. So in theory, if Kira managed to follow a criminal's case thoroughly enough, then he could avoid killing off the wrongfully accused. It would take a while, but all for the benefit of the world. And though we do see "the bad guy" as the one in jail, it can't be helped. Isn't also true that innocent people are executed by the state anyway, even our justice system would make the same mistakes. The world cannot be fully saved by a miraculous savior, but it would certainly be better off.

The world can fix itself up easily, human’s just need to get out the way. The day all of human life departs is the actual day when the world can clean itself up. We’ve BEEN part of the problem since the first human was born on the earth, or even better, the first human that started to make things that destroyed the environment. There is no such thing as a perfect world, there is always good and evil. The world HAS to be balanced or it all falls apart. Criminals are necessary for people like police and detectives to solve cases and find them… no criminals, a few jobs lost, no thieves to steal items, there are a few lawyers on commercials who are like “If you’ve had something stolen, call this number now-“ and their job is gone. If the world was clean enough, the people that help to clean it today wouldn’t be needed… etc. There are so many I can say but there’s too much to type.

Actually, he does not kill those that are falsely accused, he killed those that accused the people on false charges though…and I think he only killed one falsely accused person in the whole Manga series, at least that’s what I thought they stated in one of the books…I don’t know. But the point is that most supporters have their own thoughts but still think it’s a good idea. Like the supporters of Kira, we all add in our own ‘2 cents’ by saying things like “Sure, he did this…but he should have done this…” and “If he did this, then that wouldn’t happen.” and such. But plainly the supporters still support, whether they think Kira is a bit wrong or a bit right.
  • MihaelKeehl · 1 year ago
Yes, but there's more to it than that. Humans have been the problem in many other ways. But it is also true that such actions have been the basis for many developments. Anyway, blaming mankind for the world's problems is not going to fix it. besides, we own this world, are the most intelligent form of life on it, and cover over 91% of it. So if humans really are on a path of self destruction, then when we are all dead, then the world will, as you say, "fix itself up easily"
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 1 year ago
Yes actually, that's exactly what I said...and you're right. Sure we're the most intelligent, but many of us aren't showing it...and many of us aren't doing anything to help the world, including those such as police officers, etc. of the law...who can't fix the world as they are supposed to. Sure, we're only human and can only do so much, that's WHY there are over 91% of us all over, ALL of us can do something but we don't do anything.

So yeah, I guess that means someone should kill the human race.
  • NewLinTown · 1 year ago
You've missed the point entirely. What's more, you seem to want the human race dead. You should know that some people could mistake that last remark as a sign of you being a threat to humanity. If you want to see the end of life so damn bad, you should just kill yourself and ask god on your way to hell.
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 11 months ago
Actually I’m an atheist, I don’t believe in a Heaven or Hell.

    There’s no hope for humanity, that’s all I’m saying…

Have you heard of the L Society? They are a group of individuals who despise kira's beliefs and , despite that it is only a show, they have taken that dedication to the next level by personally calling in any and all disturbances due to their beief in our current system of justice. And some of them have good resources.
  • hpttgrl · 10 months ago

Kira has a perfect view of Justice and how the world should be. A lot-most criminals are released from jail have not learned not to commit crimes they've just learned how not to get caught and some of them just get pushed out because they don't have room in the jail.
Criminals need to be prosecuted to make an ideal world. A lot of criminals ,usually the more dangerous ones, do not learn and don't care that what there's doing is hurting others. There IS a death sentence but only for really advanced crimes, some people don't give a care if they just go to jail, death is much more convincing.

You Mr. Kira, or rather Vergara, should stop polluting this intelligent discussion with your immature attacks on the Ls that are apparently situated around the world and have installed cameras in a complete strangers home. Kira's message of justice, the essence of this forum, is lost among your "confrontations" with the army of Ls stumbling across this discussion. In fact, they are no better than you when they participate in fighting you across the internet. Leave the discussion if your intention is to make shallow threats, you are contributing nothing and are exactly the kind of person that kira would not like. Your support is dependent upon the fact you want to just kill every L figure that shows up, those morals are not what kira's message is about and you are only stupid for basing your intentions on that alone. Please, if you do not wish to add anything more than empty threats and snide insults, leave this discussion immedietely and leave the rest of us sane people to discuss our thoughts in peace.

A penalty of jail time multiplies by all the other rapes that cause jail time as well could be a life sentence in jail…which is basically equivalent to death…

no such thing as kira, never has been, never will be. it is a work of fiction and nothing more, there may be a figure like l but and actual l and this l society?crap.it is fake, and all of you kira supporters should stop idolizing a false being and start considering what you can do to change the world instead of waiting for some hero to kill anyone you dont like.read some books, get some insight on the legal system before you just spout that its completely inneffective and if you still think that way, do something about it. cause im sick of hearing the same old"i support kira!" line. its getting old.and so is the perpetual belief that the world will change on the whim of kids who dont even try to understand it and before you start bashing me, cause i know you want to, please at least consider what ive said.

please "L" do explain exactly where my reasoning is faulty as opposed to just taking shots at me, like some kind of child.
  • KiraFan1412 · 9 months ago
    Billyindespair-

You are quite right. People do need to stop worshipping this false idol, because it is just a work of fiction. Its getting a little out of hand the way people on here "confront" one another. But what you dont understand is that the people that truly support THE IDEA of kira are "different". They look at things in a different light, if someone like this actually existed then the world would be a better place. A safe haven from crime. That is what they hope for, a savior to liberate the suffering and punish the wicked. Whether that person is some "kira" figure, or anything else, what matters is that is what they believe. What I believe. This hope, sometimes its what keeps us going. And we should keep that in mind as we try to change the world ourselves, shape it to the way we want. Perhaps that "kira" will show up one day and purge the world of crime, but until then you're right. Its up to US to do something about it.
  • billyindespair · 9 months ago
I suppose, but i just think that such desicions as who deserves to live and who deserves to die is something that shouldnt be left up to someone human.i appreciate you listening to my point and stating your own.but i respectfully dieagree with the idea of someone just killing anyone they decide is bad.futhermore that brings cocern to me that if such acts were being commited than instead of realizing that this was a murderer, people would support a killer just because they dont mind who the person is killing.that in itself could lead to people believing that whoever that murderer kills mustve deserved to die.even if that isnt the case.thats all.
  • billyindespair · 9 months ago
Plus that kind of world is based purely on fear, people will only do good because they are afraid to die. in addition you will have that occasional criminal who doesnt care if they die. and what do you think will happen when the kira decides to take a break? if even for a short while.criminal activity would skyrocket as soon as all the trash of the world feels that they are safe. i could go on about how there could be misunderstandings that wouldnt be settled properly or how morality would be broken down in society would be broken down because children would be learning that its okay to kill someone as long as you feel like its justifiable or that you think they are bad. i could rant for hours on the continueing degredation of society because of people wanting to cover there tracks cause lets face it, weve all done something were not too proud of.it just seems to be a bit more complicated to me than, youre bad you die theory.everything in this world to some degree relies on circumstance.so the thought may make some secure becuase they dont consider or believe these possibilities.but i do.so i cant say i support kira in any manner. nor do i support the perpetually growing amount of young kira supporters. the only thing that i even respect about kira is that unlike many of his supporters, he is choosing to take action when he sees a flaw in the worlds system of justice.
  • asakku12 · 9 months ago
I also respect him because of his actions and because he has decided to actually do something and that i really like. i am big supporter of kira even if i dont agry that one person should decide if someone lives or not but, lets face it, we need someone who will stand out and fight for this world when no one else whants . we need someone to clean this mess and kira is doing it because he is not afraid like others. i that there would be many young people trying to copy kira and we can not stop it but kira is giving us hope for the better world and that is what we need
  • asakku12 · 9 months ago
You r right. We should do something to make this world a better place but there is only one thing, we r not doing that. And why r we not doing anything? It is easy, because we r scared that we might end up dead and that is why kira is so important. Even if he is fiction, he is showing us that if want a better world we need to make scarifies and I truly support kira.
  • billyindespair · 9 months ago
Well, instead of waiting for him to appear, and this is to all kira supporters.if you truly idolize kira then why not try and make the world better instead of just hoping for him to.im not saying go out in the streets and kill the criminals out there.but little things like helping your local community or not commiting crimes yourself.try to get a high position so you can make an impact.do your research on early signs of possible crimal indicators.im just saying do something besides sitting in front of a tv watching this show wondering how great it would be if this person existed and instead try to make it so that such a person isnt neccesary.as you can see from this site alone, there are like minded people so you wont have to worry about fighting this battle alone.change the world for the better.and if you should ever want to stop.you will at least be able to look back and say that " i did something to change the world" cause its the little things that make a miracle
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 8 months ago
You sound like a boyscout, or Jesus. But you're right, sure there are times when I hope and dream that the death note could be real and I would be chosen, but it's fake, and it will never happen. It's understandable to try and do what's right and make the world a better place...but knowing that there's nothing that can help is what makes people not bother.

I gave up a long time ago actually, lol. There's no point if there aren't enough people, the world is only getting worse...soon it's just going to be destroyed. It's nice to know that you tried, sure, but it would be even nicer to know that you saved the world...not that you TRIED to save the world.
  • billyindespair · 8 months ago
Don't call me a freaking boy scout just cause i still believe that the world can be changed for the better without the means of senseless and endless murder.furthermore, there was a time when you couldnt find a place to be safe even typing this stuff.but i digress, the point is that despite the fact that most of you all want a quick fix, that is not gonna happen.its like a fat guy saying hes never gonna be thin after quitting a diet he only did for a week.these are the kind of things that can't be resolved quickly.you have to give it effort and not give up just cause u dont see the result u wanted right away.bitch about it all u like but it wont change if u do nothing.
now i'd like to know since you say you gave up on that idea, can you tell me if you ever tried to change the world and if so,how long,if not, why say you gave up cause that would mean you never tried.
  • Lawlietta Yagami · 8 months ago
You cannot speak for everyone, many have tried for a long time and saw nothing and gave up, giving up solves nothing, sure, but continuing on with something that still doesn't change is the same. If nothing happens, there's no need to continue.

I've been in Girl scouts for 15 years, and as all Girl Scouts of America do, we reduce, reuse, recycle, donate to charity, pick up trash, help the needy, help people that are too old to take care of themselves, everything you're basically hinting at the world to do in your speech. It's gotten no where, for 15 years, and now that I've graduated from it, I realize there was no point since no one else was there trying to help us. That there was no purpose, a little group of girls can't do anything alone...that's how humans are, we're basically going to destroy ourselves...and in the end it's pointless...

Now let's bring this conversation on you, since you want to try and ask me something as if I haven't tried... :) How have you helped the comunity, Jesus?
  • billyindespair · 8 months ago
Me and my school club go to various collar prisons and give speeches to criminals who volunteer to hear them hoping it wis dissuade them from further criminal activity both before and after their release.in addition,i have this thing called"lessons for the day with all of my clasees where i write a short saying and then explain it to my fellow classmates.none of the teachers mind since my morals seem justified to all of them.i do the same with recycling and helping my community,i donate anything useful like a slightly ripped couch or so to the less fortunate and things like that.and if i see someones about to do something stupid thats going to hurt someone or themselves,i stop and help them deal with what caused them to want to do it.ive been doing this since i was fourteen so about three years and i still do it.so yeah,i do my part.
  • billyindespair · 8 months ago

Kira infact did have a flaw but he shouldnt have been killed he should have anticipated Near's trick or used Misa again or from the start had the shinigami eyes

i agree completly in order to perfect this world we must get rid of all the sinners, but in order to defeat that evil we must use a greater evil, thats why using the death note isnt as wrong as some say
  • kiraworshipper · 8 months ago

I think the show has shown as well as this Discussion as well. That the world is divided about this on what is right & what is wrong. Like in the show the world will always debate on how we view criminals and some might even take it to their own hands to try to change things while the law or others do not agree. This goes beyond Kira. form the days of super heros like Batman, Spiderman, and so fourth. The only way is for us to vote on it whether we agree or disagree and wether we are right or wrong is hard to say. There's no clear solution. This is just a story of one who has gotten the power to go what he believes is right. But whether he is right or he is wrong will always be debated. There are those who believe in Kira and those who Believes Kira is a Radical in some sense. This like the world will be a Debate in our minds and in real life for a long time to come. Debate is as long as you like. There will most likely be no Common agreement nor a Single solution for a long time to come. That's what I think the movie was tryin to explain. That's what make Death Note so Popular and successful. We each have our own ideas to change the world that some may agree while others will not. That's Life.. (And Death in a matter of speaking LoL)

The world is divided because no one seems to understand that there is such things as being mutual. it's a state of not being for either side, sure there are more people for good that neutral and more people for evil than neutral, but no one should separate the world into two different groups just because the majority are in those groups. The world needs to consider the minority of people...like in schools.

My school has about 90% African Americans, 3% Hispanics, and 2% Asian and Caucasian. Our principal automatically labels everyone in the school as 'proud African American's striving to change ourselves and prove our labels wrong'. The world just tends to put everyone in a big group depending on how many there are.

Some people have to do evil in order to do good, that is a proven fact and worldly known. The government would kill one man to save a country, but if that one man kills another man to save the country they would get into big trouble...the only way one could get away with doing evil was if they worked for the government.

Kira's idea's were planned out and perfect in the beginning, but as always power takes over and he turned more evil than following his chosen path. The idea of saving the world with the Death Note was great, until he started to simply kill people he didn't want or need anymore...that was the problem.

Of course there will never be a common agreement, this was made to talk and debate, you know. If everyone agreed then where would this site go? No where, that's where.
