Hes got perfect intitions and hes pretty dang hot too!!!
KIra IS pretty hot. -drools-
But at the same time, it is wrong to use the death note, sometimes, you see i believe that if he hadn't gone so over bored on using the death note MAYBE he wouldn't have had all these problems.
He was wrong to think that he could change the whole world and rid it of all it's evil.
His number one flaw, was that on the way to "becomimg the God of the new world", he actually became the biggest monster.
I would have to say that my margine of agreement with kirs would have to be around 2%.
You make no sense.
So like I said, someone who is with the government can kill but someone who is not can not…
I don’t think I need to know how they kill someone on death row, but thanks for the information it was actually really cool. They’d all go in a frenzy if they found out they killed the person.
We’re not talking about people that HAVE been caught and are going to die anyway, we’re talking about people who HAVE NOT been caught and are being allowed to run around freely continuing their acts. You keep bringing up that if an inmate is on death row, you’re ignoring the people who are killing and running around free…and that’s a dumb idea to give inmates a death note or a fake death note, because they would probably just try it on each other…whether they know or not which has the true note book, the person who wrote the others name that died would find out.
So basically no, it did not clarify anything.
ANYONE can be the executioner. You don't have to be with the government to do you it. When Sadam Hussein was caught many, MANY people signed up to be the executioner. Many people from his country; middle class, average, non-governmental people, signed up to pull the lever when he was to be hung. What I'm saying is kind of like that. Anyone can do it, you don't have to be in the government, or the military, or any specific group to do it. Now, how people would be chosen to do something like that, I still don't know. Maybe it could work like jury duty. Maybe people could sign up for it. Whatever works best.
And yes, when I heard about how they do the death penalty, I thought it was pretty interesting myself.
Well the question didn't really classify if we were talking about inmates or "free" crimials. The question was asked if it was so bad to do things the Kira way and I said I wouldn't do it his way, but I suggested an alternative. And the reason I would ONLY use it on inmates who are on death row, is because they have already been sentanced by a court of law, to death. If a criminal has raped and beaten and murdered and done all of these unthinkable crimes but is still running from the law but has NOT been sentenced BY A COURT OF LAW to death, then killing then with the death note isn't right.
And I never said to give a death note to inmates. What I said was we could have a system where those selected people (whoever they are; governmental or not) look at an inmate on death row (be it a picture or the real thing) and then write his or her name down in identical looking notebooks( so no one knows which one is real),one of which would be the death note. And then the inmate will die, no one will know who killed him/her and everyone has a clean concience.
I’m sure that every single one would freak out wondering if they killed the man or not. No one would have a clean conscience. The person with the death note should be selected and possibly even tested in some way if it was possible to see if they should be one of the people to use the note book.
And no. It's not for certain that everyone would freak out wondering if they killed the person or not. And on a side note, it is also wrong to say that everyone will remain calm. It all depends on the individuals reaction. That being said, those who don't want to do it, don't have to.
And yes, if there were a way to test someone accurately, then by all means let that test be applied. But, because we don't have that technology (and since lie detectors are inadmissable in court), I was merely suggesting an alternative that could be used if a death note was put to use in current times.
And I already answered the second half of your question but I'll expand what I said before. I said that "no matter what that person has done they're alive for a reason and no matter how much we may want them dead, we don;t have the right to decide if they should be unless were on jury duty and putting that person through trial legally". What that meant was I believe that if a person has committed a horrible and unforgivable crime and is running free, but they have not been put on trial legally and a jury has not voted on the death penalty, then I don't think using the death note on that person is okay. Put it like this, let's say some guy rapes a little girl (the usual penalty for which is not death). Do you think that everyone in the girls family would want him alive? No, of course they would want him dead. But the penalty for rape is (usually) just prison time. So if this man is running the around free and someone were to use the death note on him because of what he's done, then it isn't right because there's a chance that, had he been caught and convicted, he would NOT have been sentenced to death and then you would have killed, not and innocent man, but a man who still had the right to life (maybe not to freedom) but to life.
You continuously mentioned that killing was wrong unless the government did so, that’s what you continued to say over and over again, you said that the government was given the right to kill because it’s their duty to protect their citizens basically, and no one has the right to judge man but God or the Government…that’s what you said…even search through your previous posts ((I had to in order to prove my point actually lol))
Everything you keep saying deals with government…that’s all I’m saying. You continue to say that you aren’t, but you practically are…especially after what you just said about if they aren’t on trial or anything we cannot say they deserve a penalty unless we’re of the government or jury duty…once again, GOVERNMENT. Rapists don’t just rape one person and decide to walk like a normal being…obviously they raped for a reason, sex addicts, such like that…they usually continue if they haven’t been caught, it’s an adrenaline rush of a sort. A penalty of jail time multiplies by all the other rapes that cause jail time as well could be a life sentence in jail…which is basically equivalent to death…
it?(for your answer, piece together the capital letters).
charges. And you wouldn't want to be killed just because you were accused of a crime would
you?
life is too short, why spend it in jail? And for most people to go about killing just because they may think the same way. As in "Life is too short so get all the money you can from banks...kill those you dislike...murder, stealing, rape, etc." So sometimes their lives should be and deserve to be cut shorter than half...as in...die now.
Go Kira!
But still, there has to be a better way of dealing with it.It's a lot easier to do what's wrong than right and there seems to be no justification in the eyes of criminals to do what's right. So what do you do with them? You can't just kill them all. Some learn thier lesson.
Exactly, sure some get thrown in jail...what about those that haven't gotten caught and are still running around killing and hurting little kids who don't deserve it? I'm a supporter of Kira.
The smart ones, those of a higher IQ above 100, should be control of the Death note, for they would be able to tell if they were lying or not...because hey, everyone shows a weakness in a lie unless you were born lying...like...as soon as you were born a boy you claimed you were a girl. Come on.
A murder is a murder indeed, so how about telling the murderers that are in jail? The killers that will be SET FREE AFTER A PERIOD OF TIME AND DO THEIR DIRTY TASKS ALL OVER AGAIN. Of course a murder is a murder, but there is a difference between self defence and murder. Defending the world is always considered a self defense...even if also claimed to be murder...
those were his thoughts. because come on. Even if you used it once, you're still not going to heaven or hell. So once he realized there was no turning back...he just had to finish his knew world. Even when Light forgot his memories, he knew that if he was kira he'd complete his mission on building a new world.
and plus my sister went out yesterday to a friends house and i wrote her name in death note online and well she still isnt home.
14 yrs old
female
so age is unknown and sex is obvious :)
anyway having a death note would be awsome but is it worth having a untrustworthy shinigame always following you everywhere? i mean he could just kill you off at any moment! and they do look kinda creepy. try going to leep with that thing watching you all night waiting.................. i mean who knows what he could do to you while you sleep!
But, I don't think that Light was evil, since in his head he really WAS justice - whatever he was doing, he was doing it for the right reasons - an evil person would know that what they do is wrong, yet continue to act thusly regardless.
In response to those who say that only Kira or Light needed to be killed - well, even when Light WASN'T Kira (does that avoid spoilers?) his thought patterns were still leaning towards the attitude of Kira, something he acknowledged himself.
As for his Godly desires, and especially his actions right at the end, it seems clear to me that there was something extremely wrong with him mentally. As to whether or not he was driven to madness by power, by constantly putting hundreds of people to death, or if that was just his personality, I can't decide.
Light killed thinking he was 'Justice,' it was clear to others (Light's dad, L) that Kira was evil, and I think it's supposed to be pretty clear to us, too. n.n
Defiantly a kira supporter
Good point, but… Is killing ever really right?
I think throughout the series of Death Note, we're supposed to know that Light MEANS well, but I think we're supposed to realize that he's evil.
I mean, crazy evil. With the power to kill people, he corrupts. He becomes conceited, and he takes the lives of whoever he pleases.
I think Takeshi probably wanted us to know that what Light was doing was wrong.
1. Light does not have the benefit of a detailed investigation to reassure him beyond the shadow of a doubt of the person's innocence or guilt.
2. Light is the sole arbiter of the decision, as opposed to a jury.
3. Light is both outside the law and rather insane.
Would YOU want this man deciding your fate if you were accused of murder? He doesn't know everything; no matter what he thinks, he's not God. He can make a mistake. True, a group of people can make a mistake, as well, but you've got a better chance when there is a chance for discussion.
!DELETE!
It may be foolish how we all compare ourselves to Kira and say we would of done better, but it is NOT foolish how we all think. We all believe in one thing...there IS wrong and RIGHT....we CAN lebel because in the back of our minds there is something TELLING US WHAT IS WRONG...
Sure, who kills must be killed, but saying this also supports your statement of "who can say what is right or wrong" though...killing a killer is neither aswell? Not...
Kira is like the police, only better though (getting back to the topic). Police could accidentaly punish an innocent, while Kira looked up his information first before actually doing anything...though he also punished the simple crimes, the simple crimes worked well and warned everyone NOT to try and steal a bag of potato chips from a camera-less quickie-mart...so when you get to the younger kids, they warn people and behave themselves as they get older...
You so funny.

This blogger says, yes. The intentions of Light Yagami, or Kira, would be a true benefit to the world we live in today. Each of us, were brought up in an evil world, one with crime and mortality on the rise. The world, no, our world, is nothing more than vicious vigilantes preying upon the meak, all living in squalor. Justice has become muddled and vague, the guilty easily transcend the hands of punishment. If no crime is served, no criminal apprehended, no judgement given, we will rot from the very muck we hath sewn. But, with a Kira existing, there is hope.
As evidenced by episode 31 of the anime, after 6 years of Kira's intervention, wars have ceased, crime has trickled down, and people are adopting honest, generous lifestyles. With Kira watching all of the world, criminals are eliminated, and the good are left to live free from evil influences. Capital punishment, or the death penalty, are essentially the essence of Kira's judgements. Are the executioners who pull the switch on electric chairs evil as well? Justice is being taken into the hands of someone who wont just let criminals slide through the cracks in the justice system, all executed with a quick pen stroke and a sudden heart attack. Light had managed to reduce world crime rate by 70%, all within a short period of time, compared to how long it would take for the world to solve its criminal problems on its own. Although Light did kill innocent people along the way, which does retract from his original philosophy of punishing criminals. This could be seen as a consequence to a ruling of Kira, but a great man once said "sacrifice is necessary for progress". And what progress indeed. To destroy evil and purge the world of crime. Kira is a savior of the good, and one today would surely produce similar results. So, is Kira justice? Most defintely so.
Supporter of Kira 100%!
KIRA WILL LIVE ON IN ME!!!!!
I can't remember which episode or which manga number it was, but a man said that "Kira was probably killing the criminals who were going to be executed anyway..."
So doesn't that mean the policemen are doing the same thing that Kira is doing? Killing off the bad criminals? Sure, Light was doing the same thing the police were doing with criminals. Execution. But after awhile we all know he started losing control and getting paranoid so he started to kill people who were trying to stop Kira and get in the way of his 'Master Plan'.
There are people who say that Kira is Evil...then there are those who support him...
Well, Those who say he's evil should be happy that he died...but those that claim he is good are proud that the world of Kira hadn't changed since he left...not criminal wise before he got the deathnote, but after his death the world remained the same...no one knew he died, so there was minimum crime rate throughout the world....he was successful whether anyone likes it or not. The only problem that he faced was not being able to see his Kingdom live on.
yes, I agree...Whether you worshipped him as a God or not, you get too close and you're used as a pawn in his chase-and-run game. Every female he's ever been with was used, males, no children...it seemed they were all the only ones safe...
As you can see in my name, I'm LAWLIETta YAGAMI...I love both sides, for I do believe I have the same thoughts as Kira but the same Brains as Detective L....I may be claiming that I'm full of myself, but I support Kira but I also support L and his way of justice...Kira IS justice...but he is also a failure. Light kills off every crime there is, including small twinkie theives in a small market. L punishes the same way except without killing and instead throwing in jail. If their problem was bad enough, he would have had them killed....so....does that mean what Light was doing was wrong? NO...it was the same act that the police do! They Execute, so Kira should as well, not for the smaller crimes, but for the same crimes as the police consider bad enough to kill.
I agree with KiraFan1412, The police let small things slide by either giving off warnings or giving them jail time then letting them free...that, excuse my words, pisses me off SO MUCH. It's the people who get AWAY with the crime that want to DO IT AGAIN! They have a crack of hope in every heart all over the world, everyone thinks something will change...it's when you realize NOTHING WILL and then you turn around...it's hard and obviously takes awhile in order to support Kira and his actions...all our lives we look at a bully and think they'll be your friend soon enough, but when they follow you through highschool and college and graduation and still have no life but to torment you is when you realize...this person is going the wrong path and hasn't changed their path since....
They must be elliminated.
Innocent people, to me, are the people that sit back and witness...criminals, to me, are those that do something wrong continiously without fixing their own mistakes or doing something about it.
--->((Time for a quote lol)) "To make an omelet, you got to break a few eggs..." Indeed, that means sacrafice. it's the same as war on earth, To win the war against another country one must send troops....some troops die, but they sacraficed themselves to save their homeland.
I support both sides...I am right in the middle...Kira is WRONG, but Kira is RIGHT...L is WRONG...but L is RIGHT...
SOMEONE HELP ME CHOOSE FOR GOD'S SAKE...
Says who? I think that there is definitely a way to rid the world of evil without killing people or "making sacrifices."
Why are we killing people who kill people to teach people that killing people is wrong?
I would not be a supporter of Kira.
My brain hurts lol...this is like a brain stretching thing.
I support both, that is all lol.
You're obviously unaware of what your own comment said "Why are we killing people who kill people to teach people that killing people is wrong?" Well thats just it, today's justice system is based upon that logic its what capital punishment is after all. Though it's a sad truth, criminal executions are the law of this world and it seems that the public accepts this "eye-for-an-eye" system. Kira would be doing the exact same thing, and people would eventually learn to agree with such methods. And ridding the world of evil does require sacrifices, even L himself committed crimes to stop Kira. The police have to risk their lives to uphold peace. Chaos cannot be controlled without having to commit treachery of your own. Thus is the sad way of the world.
~Kira our Savior~
~Kira our Savior~
There you have it "Kira our Savior"
How are you to know who raped the poor girl in the alley last night? Guess? Or maybe you could have a little suggestion box, where the whole community can vote on Who Raped Mary Sue. Why not kill all of the suspects, just to be sure? Raise your hand if you honestly believe the majority of crimes committed leave the police knowing the perpetrator's name and face. We already have a capital punishment system; how well does this work? I can't go on listing the illogical aspects of this.
Not to mention, every attempt at such an oppressive rulership in recorded history has failed...

KIra
There is no such thing as a perfect world, just like this ‘Go Green’ and ‘Global Warming’ crap. We cannot fix what has already happened…so why bother? It is something we cannot do.
i support him:)
Actually, he does not kill those that are falsely accused, he killed those that accused the people on false charges though…and I think he only killed one falsely accused person in the whole Manga series, at least that’s what I thought they stated in one of the books…I don’t know. But the point is that most supporters have their own thoughts but still think it’s a good idea. Like the supporters of Kira, we all add in our own ‘2 cents’ by saying things like “Sure, he did this…but he should have done this…” and “If he did this, then that wouldn’t happen.” and such. But plainly the supporters still support, whether they think Kira is a bit wrong or a bit right.
So yeah, I guess that means someone should kill the human race.
There’s no hope for humanity, that’s all I’m saying…

Kira
...Don't even ask.
I like how at the end of your message it says 'Kira' but your name at the top is 'Bryan vergara' lol, nice.
MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Criminals need to be prosecuted to make an ideal world. A lot of criminals ,usually the more dangerous ones, do not learn and don't care that what there's doing is hurting others. There IS a death sentence but only for really advanced crimes, some people don't give a care if they just go to jail, death is much more convincing.

I really wished that the death note existed, I know I would certainly have done what Light would do.

Judging from your other comments, you are a wannabe Kira.
Exposing yourself infront of MasterL2 and the real L, or should I just say ALL the L's in this "Supporter of Kira?" thread.
You said that "I am Kira"... Kira would NEVER do that.
I only support the real KIRA.
Exactly, how could you not support Kira.
soz!
Muahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahaha
PS- I am forming a team to go assinate Matsuda anyone who would like to join in plz do
You are quite right. People do need to stop worshipping this false idol, because it is just a work of fiction. Its getting a little out of hand the way people on here "confront" one another. But what you dont understand is that the people that truly support THE IDEA of kira are "different". They look at things in a different light, if someone like this actually existed then the world would be a better place. A safe haven from crime. That is what they hope for, a savior to liberate the suffering and punish the wicked. Whether that person is some "kira" figure, or anything else, what matters is that is what they believe. What I believe. This hope, sometimes its what keeps us going. And we should keep that in mind as we try to change the world ourselves, shape it to the way we want. Perhaps that "kira" will show up one day and purge the world of crime, but until then you're right. Its up to US to do something about it.
I gave up a long time ago actually, lol. There's no point if there aren't enough people, the world is only getting worse...soon it's just going to be destroyed. It's nice to know that you tried, sure, but it would be even nicer to know that you saved the world...not that you TRIED to save the world.
now i'd like to know since you say you gave up on that idea, can you tell me if you ever tried to change the world and if so,how long,if not, why say you gave up cause that would mean you never tried.
I've been in Girl scouts for 15 years, and as all Girl Scouts of America do, we reduce, reuse, recycle, donate to charity, pick up trash, help the needy, help people that are too old to take care of themselves, everything you're basically hinting at the world to do in your speech. It's gotten no where, for 15 years, and now that I've graduated from it, I realize there was no point since no one else was there trying to help us. That there was no purpose, a little group of girls can't do anything alone...that's how humans are, we're basically going to destroy ourselves...and in the end it's pointless...
Now let's bring this conversation on you, since you want to try and ask me something as if I haven't tried... :) How have you helped the comunity, Jesus?
My school has about 90% African Americans, 3% Hispanics, and 2% Asian and Caucasian. Our principal automatically labels everyone in the school as 'proud African American's striving to change ourselves and prove our labels wrong'. The world just tends to put everyone in a big group depending on how many there are.
Some people have to do evil in order to do good, that is a proven fact and worldly known. The government would kill one man to save a country, but if that one man kills another man to save the country they would get into big trouble...the only way one could get away with doing evil was if they worked for the government.
Kira's idea's were planned out and perfect in the beginning, but as always power takes over and he turned more evil than following his chosen path. The idea of saving the world with the Death Note was great, until he started to simply kill people he didn't want or need anymore...that was the problem.
Of course there will never be a common agreement, this was made to talk and debate, you know. If everyone agreed then where would this site go? No where, that's where.
