The world is divided because no one seems to understand that there is such things as being mutual. it's a state of not being for either side, sure there are more people for good that neutral and more people for evil than neutral, but no one should separate the world into two different groups just because the majority are in those groups. The world needs to consider the minority of people...like in schools.

My school has about 90% African Americans, 3% Hispanics, and 2% Asian and Caucasian. Our principal automatically labels everyone in the school as 'proud African American's striving to change ourselves and prove our labels wrong'. The world just tends to put everyone in a big group depending on how many there are.

Some people have to do evil in order to do good, that is a proven fact and worldly known. The government would kill one man to save a country, but if that one man kills another man to save the country they would get into big trouble...the only way one could get away with doing evil was if they worked for the government.

Kira's idea's were planned out and perfect in the beginning, but as always power takes over and he turned more evil than following his chosen path. The idea of saving the world with the Death Note was great, until he started to simply kill people he didn't want or need anymore...that was the problem.

Of course there will never be a common agreement, this was made to talk and debate, you know. If everyone agreed then where would this site go? No where, that's where.

I think the show has shown as well as this Discussion as well. That the world is divided about this on what is right & what is wrong. Like in the show the world will always debate on how we view criminals and some might even take it to their own hands to try to change things while the law or others do not agree. This goes beyond Kira. form the days of super heros like Batman, Spiderman, and so fourth. The only way is for us to vote on it whether we agree or disagree and wether we are right or wrong is hard to say. There's no clear solution. This is just a story of one who has gotten the power to go what he believes is right. But whether he is right or he is wrong will always be debated. There are those who believe in Kira and those who Believes Kira is a Radical in some sense. This like the world will be a Debate in our minds and in real life for a long time to come. Debate is as long as you like. There will most likely be no Common agreement nor a Single solution for a long time to come. That's what I think the movie was tryin to explain. That's what make Death Note so Popular and successful. We each have our own ideas to change the world that some may agree while others will not. That's Life.. (And Death in a matter of speaking LoL)

Kira infact did have a flaw but he shouldnt have been killed he should have anticipated Near's trick or used Misa again or from the start had the shinigami eyes

Me and my school club go to various collar prisons and give speeches to criminals who volunteer to hear them hoping it wis dissuade them from further criminal activity both before and after their release.in addition,i have this thing called"lessons for the day with all of my clasees where i write a short saying and then explain it to my fellow classmates.none of the teachers mind since my morals seem justified to all of them.i do the same with recycling and helping my community,i donate anything useful like a slightly ripped couch or so to the less fortunate and things like that.and if i see someones about to do something stupid thats going to hurt someone or themselves,i stop and help them deal with what caused them to want to do it.ive been doing this since i was fourteen so about three years and i still do it.so yeah,i do my part.

You cannot speak for everyone, many have tried for a long time and saw nothing and gave up, giving up solves nothing, sure, but continuing on with something that still doesn't change is the same. If nothing happens, there's no need to continue.

I've been in Girl scouts for 15 years, and as all Girl Scouts of America do, we reduce, reuse, recycle, donate to charity, pick up trash, help the needy, help people that are too old to take care of themselves, everything you're basically hinting at the world to do in your speech. It's gotten no where, for 15 years, and now that I've graduated from it, I realize there was no point since no one else was there trying to help us. That there was no purpose, a little group of girls can't do anything alone...that's how humans are, we're basically going to destroy ourselves...and in the end it's pointless...

Now let's bring this conversation on you, since you want to try and ask me something as if I haven't tried... :) How have you helped the comunity, Jesus?

Don't call me a freaking boy scout just cause i still believe that the world can be changed for the better without the means of senseless and endless murder.furthermore, there was a time when you couldnt find a place to be safe even typing this stuff.but i digress, the point is that despite the fact that most of you all want a quick fix, that is not gonna happen.its like a fat guy saying hes never gonna be thin after quitting a diet he only did for a week.these are the kind of things that can't be resolved quickly.you have to give it effort and not give up just cause u dont see the result u wanted right away.bitch about it all u like but it wont change if u do nothing.
now i'd like to know since you say you gave up on that idea, can you tell me if you ever tried to change the world and if so,how long,if not, why say you gave up cause that would mean you never tried.

You sound like a boyscout, or Jesus. But you're right, sure there are times when I hope and dream that the death note could be real and I would be chosen, but it's fake, and it will never happen. It's understandable to try and do what's right and make the world a better place...but knowing that there's nothing that can help is what makes people not bother.

I gave up a long time ago actually, lol. There's no point if there aren't enough people, the world is only getting worse...soon it's just going to be destroyed. It's nice to know that you tried, sure, but it would be even nicer to know that you saved the world...not that you TRIED to save the world.

Well,instead of waiting for him to appear,and this is to all kira supporters.if you truly idolize kira then why not try and make the world better instead of just hoping for him to.im not saying go out in the streets and kill the criminals out there.but little things like helping your local community or not commiting crimes yourself.try to get a high position so you can make an impact.do your research on early signs of possible crimal indicators.im just saying do something besides sitting in front of a tv watching this show wondering how great it would be if this person existed and instead try to make it so that such a person isnt neccesary.as you can see from this site alone,there are like minded people so you wont have to worry about fighting this battle alone.change the world for the better.and if you should ever want to stop.you will at least be able to look back and say that " i did something to change the world" cause its the little things that make a miracle

You r right. We should do something to make this world a better place but there is only one thing, we r not doing that. And why r we not doing anything? It is easy, because we r scared that we might end up dead and that is why kira is so important. Even if he is fiction, he is showing us that if want a better world we need to make scarifies and I truly support kira.

I also respect him because of his actions and because he has decided to actually do something and that i really like. i am big supporter of kira even if i dont agry that one person should decide if someone lives or not but, lets face it, we need someone who will stand out and fight for this world when no one else whants . we need someone to clean this mess and kira is doing it because he is not afraid like others. i that there would be many young people trying to copy kira and we can not stop it but kira is giving us hope for the better world and that is what we need
